about

We have recorded this song in tribute to its co-writer Rachel Finke, who sadly took her own life in January 2017. Proceeds from sales will be donated to Young Minds, a charity which addresses young people and mental health.

May says: "I wrote this song with my friend Rachel Finke. We had spent the night before trying to link all of our problems to David Cameron, and we found that we could. Earlier in the summer we had been to Tolpuddle Martyrs festival during the run-up to Jeremy Corbyn being elected leader of the Labour Party. We wrote this song as a protest against the Tory government at the time, and to give hope to the next generation - to show that if we stand together we can overcome oppressors like them."
